We are excited to introduce a new feature in our permits and inspections module—a new “Expired” option has been added to the archive status. This enhancement aims to streamline your workflow by providing a dedicated status for projects that have reached their expiration date. Here’s how you can utilize this new feature effectively.

How to Archive Individual Projects with the “Expired” Status

Archiving individual projects as expired is simple. To start, navigate to the sidebar and select “Expired” under “Projects.” Locate the project you wish to archive. Next, click the gear icon next to the project and select “Archive Project.” Among the options, you will now see the new “Expired” status. Select “Expired” and click “Yes” to confirm. The project will then be archived with the expired status.

How to Archive Multiple Projects in Bulk

If you need to archive multiple expired projects at once, the process is just as straightforward. Begin by going to “Projects” section and clicking on “Expired.” From the “Choose Action” dropdown menu, choose “Archive Projects” Select the projects you want to archive and click “Archive”. Select “Expired” and click “Yes” to confirm. All selected projects will then be archived with the expired status.

Finding Archived Projects

After archiving projects with the expired status, locating them is easy. Navigate to the “Archived” under the “Projects” section in the sidebar. Use the filter option labeled “Reason” and select “Expired.” This will allow you to view all projects archived with this status, enabling you to quickly access and manage all expired projects, thereby enhancing your efficiency and organization.

Conclusion

The addition of the “Expired” status for archiving expired projects is a valuable update to our permits and inspections module. Whether you’re archiving individual projects or handling them in bulk, this new feature simplifies the process and improves project management. We hope this enhancement helps you stay organized and efficient. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to enhance our system to better meet your needs!
