We’ve rolled out some awesome new features to make your experience smoother and more enjoyable. From easier calendar management to smarter code enforcement tools, these updates are here to save you time and reduce confusion.

1. Calendar Update: “All Day” is Now “Any Time”

Ever feel like your calendar was blocking out your entire day with events that didn’t really need a time? We’ve got you covered!

How It Works:

  • Open your calendar, create a new event, and under Time Preferences, select “Any Time.”
  • Heads up! Events marked “Any Time” won’t sync with external calendars—they’ll only show on MyGov.

2. Code Enforcement: New “Reported” Filter for Violations

Tracking reported violations just got a whole lot easier.

How It Works:

  • When reporting a violation, like an abandoned vehicle, enter the address as usual.
  • You’ll now see a “Reported” filter under Existing Violations for that location, making it easier to focus on new reports.
  • Don’t worry—you can still view Promoted or All violations if needed.

3. “Track User” Feature Removed

We’ve made some privacy-focused improvements across the board. This keeps the platform simple and respects user privacy.

  • What’s Changed: The ability to track users has been removed across all modules. This means you will no longer be able to track users in areas like the Permits & Inspections module (e.g., under the Manager, Reviewer, or Inspector Loads list) or in User Manager.

4. Billing Manager: Search by Amount

We know searching for the right invoice can be a hassle. Not anymore. No more scrolling through endless lists—just search by the amount and find what you need fast.

How It Works:

  • In Billing Manager, head to Invoices or Receipts.
  • Use the search bar to filter by amount.

5. Code Enforcement: View Case Templates Linked to Violations

We’re giving you better visibility into related cases. You can jump right into relevant cases without extra steps—because who has time for that?

How It Works:

  • Go to Module Admin in Code Enforcement.
  • Under Departments and Violation Types, you can now view and click directly into Associated Case Templates.

6. Email Option Added to Correction Lists

You asked, we delivered—emailing corrections is now a breeze. It’s all about making communication easier and keeping your workflow smooth.

How It Works:

  • Depending on the module you’re in, go to the Correction ItemsChecklists, or Violations tab on projects in Permits & Inspections, Credential Manager, Liens & Collections, Business License, Work Orders, or Code Enforcement.
  • The old print icon has been replaced with a green gear tool. Now, you can email correction lists directly from the platform!
  • You’ll even get the option to include private notes and comments—or leave them out if you prefer.

7. Reordered Action Options for Appointments

We’ve made it easier to find what you’re looking for in the action menu. This update keeps things consistent and easy to navigate.

What’s New:

  • In Permits and InspectionsCode Enforcement, and Business License modules, we’ve reorganized the “Choose Action” list for the appointments load listing under inspections on the sidebar.
  • You’ll notice everything is in a more logical order now, matching other lists across the platform.

These changes are designed to make your MyGov experience better than ever. Take a look around, try out the new features, and let us know what you think—we’re always here to help!
