We’re excited to share three new updates in the Permits and Inspections, Code Enforcement, and Business License modules! These features make managing permissions, assigning team tasks, and handling project archiving easier, helping you work faster and more efficiently.

1. Flexible Permissions for Inspection Appointments

Managing inspection steps and appointments just got easier. Now, project managers and responsible users have expanded permissions, giving them more control without the wait. Icons now help you quickly spot blocked or suspended steps, so you’re always in the know.

And in the “Choose Action” menu, only available (non-blocked) appointments show up, keeping your focus on what’s ready when taking mass actions on appointments. These changes make team coordination smoother, especially for projects with multiple team members.

2. Assign Users to Inactive Steps—Easily!

Now, you can assign both active and inactive steps to specific users. If you want to assign one inspector to an entire project, even for inactive steps, you can now do it in one go with the “Mass Action” button.

This means less waiting and fewer piecemeal assignments, making it faster to navigate through projects!

3. Archive and Unarchive Project/Case Steps

Need to reactivate a previously archived project step? Now you can, with just a click! Go to a case, select the archived step, and choose to set it back to “Active.” Or you can also archive active steps if needed.

This flexibility helps manage timelines without losing important data—perfect for complex cases that might need to be revisited.
