At MyGov, we are committed to constantly improving our software to better serve our users. We are thrilled to announce the addition of three new features that will make navigating MyGov simpler and more efficient for you.

Away Status Feature

Have you ever needed to step away from your MyGov tasks temporarily? Now, with our new Away Status feature, you can easily indicate when you’re unavailable. Located in the header next to your name, simply click on the gear icon to set yourself as away and add a note if needed. Once you’re back, just click the icon again to unset away. Plus, you have the option to choose a backup user to handle your tasks while you’re away, ensuring seamless continuity.

Permits and Inspections Document Re-Issue

Say goodbye to the hassle of rerunning steps to re-issue permits and inspections documents. Our latest enhancement allows you to re-issue these documents directly from the Documents tab. Whether it’s a correction or an update, simply navigate to the generated documents, click on the gear icon, and select the reissue document option. You can customize details such as issue date, document holder, and corrections. Furthermore, you can choose to notify the document holder by email and update mail tracking. This feature not only saves time but also automatically marks previous documents as invalid, ensuring accuracy and transparency.

Project Status Management

Project managers, this one is just for you! You can now change project statuses without the need to run additional steps. By selecting the gear icon on a project, you’ll find a new option that allows you to update the status directly. Whether it’s issuing a certificate, reviewing a permit, or making a request, you have the flexibility to choose from various status options depending on the project’s progress. This streamlines project management tasks and empowers you to keep projects on track effortlessly.
